关注提高生产力,Gunung Raja Paksi(GGRP)的战略是这样的
IDXChannel - National steel producer, PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk (GGRP) continues to strive to boost productivity, along with market potential that is believed to be still so promising.
These efforts are at least carried out with two approaches, namely maximizing production capacity as well as strengthening the capacity of its Human Resources (HR).
Strengthening measures, among others, are carried out by upholding occupational safety and health (K3), through a series of activities, which were held in conjunction with the commemoration of the National K3 Month, from January 12 to February 12, 2025.
“(This activity) is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to implementing occupational safety and health standards in the national steel industry,” said GGRP President Director, Fedaus, in his official statement, Wednesday (12/2/2025).
Through this commitment, according to Fedaus, the Company strives to create a work environment that is not only safe and healthy for employees, but also contributes positively to the industry and society as a whole.
As part of the industrial sector with a high level of risk, Fedaus explained, his party is consistent in placing occupational safety and health aspects as a top priority in every activity of the Company.
This is in line with Government Regulation (PP) Number 50 of 2012 concerning Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3), which states that K3 is all efforts to ensure and protect workers from the risk of accidents and occupational diseases.
“With the increasing awareness of the importance of OHS implementation, we continue to take various preventive and proactive steps, in order to create a safe, healthy and productive work environment for all employees,” said Fedaus.
For this reason, Fedaus said, the implementation of OHS is not just a regulatory obligation. More than that, the implementation of K3 is also part of employee awareness and responsibility as well as GGRP's long-term strategy to increase the competitiveness of the national steel industry.
Fedaus also claims that his company is well aware that occupational safety and health is a key foundation in creating a productive and sustainable work environment.
“We believe that a strong OHS culture will have a positive impact. Not only for employees, but also for the Company's business growth. Therefore, we continue to be committed to developing innovative OHS programs that provide real benefits to our entire workforce,” said Fedaus.
Not only that, in line with efforts to increase the effectiveness of K3, Fedaus continued, GGRP has also implemented the 5R program, namely Ringkas, Rapi, Resik, Rawat, and Rajin, since 2023. The program has become one of GGRP's main strategies in improving workplace conditions and building a strong safety culture.
“As a result, during 2024, total Recordable Injuries decreased by more than 70 percent compared to the previous year. In addition, a comparison of data between January 2025 and January 2024 also shows a decrease in the number of work accidents of more than 20 percent,” said Fedaus.
Meanwhile, related to the celebration of National K3 Month, Fedaus said GGRP had held various activities with the aim of increasing employee awareness and skills in implementing work safety standards in the operational environment. One of them is the Fire Simulation Drill which is designed to test employee readiness and response in dealing with fire emergency situations.
The simulation is part of the risk mitigation measures carried out periodically to ensure that all employees understand the evacuation and hazard handling procedures well.
In addition, GGRP also holds a Medical Check-Up program for all employees, with the aim of monitoring health conditions and providing follow-up recommendations if indications of health problems are found. This routine health check is part of the company's policy in creating a healthier and more productive work environment.
Not only that, GGRP also held a Safety Talk which presented the Middle Labor Supervisor of the West Java Province Region II Manpower Office, Natrom, as the main speaker.
In this session, employees were given insight into the importance of implementing K3 in the work environment and various recent government policies in supporting a more effective occupational safety and health management system.
According to Natrom, he appreciates GGRP's commitment in implementing an occupational safety and health system that is getting better every year. Natrom explained that these efforts not only protect the workforce, but also increase the company's productivity and competitiveness.
“We hope that this initiative can continue to be improved and become a sustainable work culture. Not only during the momentum of National K3 Month, but throughout the year,” Natrom said.
