“We see a strong link between digitalization and sustainability. The more accurate and data-driven our processes, the greater the positive impact we can deliver, both for company performance and for the environment,” he added.

As part of its commitment to quality and sustainability, GRP ensures its products meet international standards, particularly in the Australian market. The company holds an independently verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD), containing information on the environmental impact of GRP’s steel products throughout their life cycle — from raw materials, production processes, and distribution, to end-of-life. This EPD supports the implementation of sustainable construction and helps GRP’s products meet green building project criteria.

GRP has also obtained certification from the Australasian Certification Authority for Reinforcing and Structural Steels (ACRS). This certification confirms that GRP’s products have undergone comprehensive audits of raw materials, production processes, and final outputs, and comply with safety and quality standards applicable in Australia and New Zealand.

Launched in 2020, Katalis is a joint initiative under the Indonesia Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA) to maximize the potential of bilateral economic cooperation. The program encourages private sector participation, expands market access, integrates supply chains, and promotes inclusive growth. Entering its next five-year phase, Katalis also places emphasis on gender equality, social inclusion, and innovation-based development.

Paul Bartlett, Director of Katalis, stated that over the past five years, Katalis has collaborated with governments and industry to maximize the potential of IA-CEPA. “We help turn business intentions into real partnerships that drive shared prosperity, job creation, and inclusive growth. Moving into the next phase, we will strengthen the foundations we have built and remain aligned with the economic and development priorities of both countries,” he said.
