改善社区交通，GRP 修复道路基础设施
The national private steel industry, PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk (GRP), has completed the concrete paving and repair efforts on Perjuangan Road in Sukadanau Village, Bekasi. This road improvement project was carried out through a collaboration between GRP, PT Nusantara Baja Profil, and PT Cemindo Gemilang Tbk, resulting in completion ahead of the estimated schedule.
According to the President Director of GRP, Fedaus, this improvement is part of their ongoing efforts to support and advance local development through social responsibility programs. "This is our commitment to the community around the factory," said Fedaus.
In this project, GRP completed concrete paving and repairs for an area totaling over 400 square meters.
Fedaus added that the repairs and paving aimed to address safety issues caused by the previously damaged road conditions. "Because the damaged road not only slows down economic activities but also increases the risk of accidents for road users," Fedaus stated.
Fedaus mentioned that this project is a continuation of GRP's commitment to improving infrastructure quality and accessibility for communities in the company's operational areas.
"We at GRP recognize the importance of Perjuangan Road, Sukadanau, which is traversed by many vehicles every day. Seeing its previous deteriorated and high-risk condition, we felt the need to take action. This initiative reflects our commitment to enhancing road users' safety and comfort while improving the quality of life for the community," explained Fedaus.
Through these improvements, Fedaus added, GRP hopes to continue making meaningful contributions to sustainable development and community welfare in Cikarang Barat and its surroundings. "GRP remains committed to infrastructure development that is not only of high quality but also safe for all users," Fedaus concluded.
The Head of Sukadanau Village, Imam Mahdi, positively responded to GRP's road improvement efforts. Imam stated that these improvements could benefit both road users and the surrounding community. "The community greatly appreciates the road improvements made by GRP. A better road condition not only enhances mobility and accessibility but also provides a sense of security for local road users. Initiatives like this that provide real benefits to our community," said Imam.
