GGRP Receives Top 50 Listed Companies with Good Corporate Governance
National steel company PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk (GGRP) won the Top 50 Issuers with the Best Corporate Governance. The award was given by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD) in The 13th IICD Corporate Governance Award, today at Graha CIMB Niaga Jakarta. In this case, GGRP won the Best Equitable Treatment of Shareholders award for the medium company category (Mid Cap).
According to IICD Chairman Sigit Pramono, the IICD Corporate Governance Award is an annual event giving appreciation to public companies with the best GCG practices. In addition, the company is also not related to serious cases that are contrary to the principles of GCG.
The assessment is carried out on 200 issuers with the largest and medium market capitalization listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), supported by 10 assessors. The use of assessment methods, based on the Asean CG Scorecard.
