Healthy, Safety, and Environment
ISO 45001: 2018 | SMK3 PP 50:2012
One of our most valuable assets is our people.
With more than 1,500 competent and hardworking employees, we recognize that they are the cornerstone of our company’s continuous growth. For this reason, we are committed to providing proper facilities with high safety standards. GRP has implemented Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (OHSE) policies in line with ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and Indonesia’s Government Regulation No. 50 of 2012 on Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems (SMK3). These policies follow the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle to ensure continuous improvement. We want every GRP employee to feel safe and comfortable at work because we understand that a secure working environment contributes directly to employee well-being. In addition to infrastructure, we also offer a range of benefits and training programs.
To ensure safety preparedness, GRP provides regular training programs, including:
- First Aid Training
- Basic OHSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) Training
- Basic Firefighting Training
- Accident Investigation Training
These trainings are conducted routinely to equip our employees with the skills needed to respond to unexpected events.
To oversee the implementation of health and safety regulations throughout GRP, our Human Capital Division (HCD) has appointed designated safety officers at our worksites. These officers are responsible for instructing, advising, and, if necessary, warning employees who fail to comply with safety procedures.
We are committed to continuously improving our workplace health and safety systems to prevent incidents. And in the rare case that incidents do occur, our employees are well-prepared to respond. We believe that by fostering this level of preparedness, we can work with a strong safety culture and high morale.
Our safety training is conducted regularly every year to prepare our employees for emergency conditions. We always want to improve the workplace health and safety regulations in order to avoid accident occurrences, and if that happens, our employees are ready for any situation.
As part of our ESG strategy, GRP is also committed to environmental stewardship. We routinely carry out nature conservation initiatives in collaboration with local communities and civil society. These efforts, such as tree planting, river restoration, and coastal ecosystem rehabilitation, reflect our proactive role in preserving biodiversity and supporting national carbon reduction goals. Our environmental practices follow ISO 14001:2015 and are validated through our consistent achievement of the PROPER Blue rating from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. In line with regulatory standards, GRP also monitors and reports its emission levels regularly to ensure full compliance with applicable environmental regulations.
