Intensifying Digital Transformation, Gunung Raja Paksi (GGRP) Receives SPEx2® DX Award 2023

Private steel manufacturer, PT Gunung Raja Paksi Tbk (GGRP), has received three prestigious awards at the SPEx2® DX Award 2023 organized by GML Performance Consulting (GML) and Kontan. The award ceremony took place on July 6, 2023.
The three awards include The Best SPEx2® Company in the Manufacturing Industry, The Best Company in Executing Digital Transformation in the Manufacturing Industry, and The Best Chief Digital Officer in Manufacturing Digital Transformation for Felix Sugianto, the IT Director of Gunung Raja Paksi.
The SPEx2® DX Award is an annual event held to appreciate companies that have demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and innovation in facing uncertain times.
In its 8th year, the theme "Executing Digital Transformation" was adopted to recognize companies that have successfully overcome and optimized their operations amidst the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a professional and competent jury, the selected companies have shown expertise in implementing digital transformation strategies to create internal and external value for stakeholders.
GGRP is recognized as one of the best companies because of its sustained commitment through strategic initiatives, innovative approaches, and the execution of digital transformation in its operations.
Abednedju Giovano Warani Sangkaeng, the President Director of Gunung Raja Paksi, expressed gratitude for the three awards and acknowledged the company's performance.

Meanwhile, Felix Sugianto, the IT Director of Gunung Raja Paksi, attributed GGRP's success in digital transformation to the support of the leadership team, the company's customer-focused approach, and the culture of continuous improvement they have implemented.
"Proactively, we leverage cutting-edge technology and optimize our business processes to meet the evolving needs of our customers," he said.
One of the digital transformations implemented by GGRP is Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to optimize truck traffic within the factory complex. RPA also provides timely information about truck departures to customers and vendors, improving clarity and satisfaction for their logistics fleet.
GGRP also partnered with Darwinbox, a Human Resource (HR) technology platform, to digitize HR management processes and enhance employee experiences.
Additionally, GGRP implemented a customer relationship management application to assist with customer orders and utilized the ERP system SAP S/4 Hana to streamline data entry into the system.
Furthermore, GGRP built a data warehouse system to collect and integrate data, facilitating analysis of the most up-to-date information through dashboards across all company functions.
Notably, GGRP applied artificial intelligence in the processing of scrap metal to reduce errors in the evaluation of production materials.
Until 2022, GGRP had invested approximately US$ 1,972,208 in information technology development activities realized throughout the previous year.
Abednedju, also known as Argo, hopes that the awards received by GGRP will serve as motivation to continue innovating and excelling in the digital era.
